i-SAFE is a non-profit foundation dedicated to protecting the online experiences of youth everywhere. i-SAFE incorporates classroom curriculum with dynamic community outreach to empower students, teachers, parents, law enforcement, and concerned adults to make the Internet a safer place. CyberSmart CyberSmart offers a free K-8 curriculum empowering students to use the Internet responsibly and effectively. Learn about cyber bullying, online scams, spyware, safe surfing, and good email practices. Michigan Children's Protection Agency The state of Michigan maintains a secure database of protected email addresses and other electronic contact points such as; fax numbers, mobile phone numbers, and instant messenger IDs. It allows Michigan's parents and schools to register electronic contact points that children may access. Once an address has been registered, senders of that messages that advertise/link to prohibited products (tobacco, gambling, pornography...) are required to remove the address from their mailing list. |
